Ridgewood's Joan Cronin Passes on Christmas Day

Cronin, Joan F. (Nee Flynn), of Ridgewood, died Christmas Day.

Joan Cronin was the beloved wife of the late Jay Cronin, who predeceased her in 1995.

She was the loving mother of Kerry and husband Steve Mills; Neil and wife Valorie Cronin; Kristin Cronin; daughter in law Rosemary; and the late John, who predeceased her in 2004.

She was the adoring grandmother of Siobhan, Maeve, and Hannah Mae Cronin; and devoted sister of Elizabeth Slabacheski.

Joan was an active parishioner of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel RC Church, Ridgewood, where she was a member of the Parish Council, Rosary Altar Society, the Fr. English Food Ministry, and the Stewardship Committee.

She was an avid Boston College Eagles, Boston Red Sox, and the New York Giants fan.

The Funeral Mass will be Friday 10:45 a.m. at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel RC Church, with interment to follow in Valleau Cemetery, Ridgewood.
