Smoke Forces Brief Closure of Moxie Salon
Light fixture shorted Thursday afternoon; the salon re-opened about an hour later.
A light fixture at Moxie Salon on East Ridgewood Avenue shorted Thursday afternoon, sending smoke throughout the salon.
Ridgewood Fire Department members ventilated the building, which re-opened about an hour after the first report. There was no report of fire.
Ridgewood police closed East Ridgewood Avenue between Oak and Chestnut streets. There were no reports of injury.
