Two Home Burglaries, One Car Burglary Reported in Glen Rock

Incidents occurred over the last few days, police said.

Investigators in Glen Rock are working hard to solve several recent reports of burglaries in the borough, according to police.

A Buckingham Place resident reported to police that their home was burglarized on Thursday, Sept. 29, Glen Rock Police Captain Jonathan Miller said Monday.

According to Miller, the burglary occurred sometime between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. The bedroom was ransacked and items appeared to be missing from the home. The burglar appears to have entered through an unlocked door, authorities said. Detectives are working the case.

Then, during the Glen Rock Street Fair on Sunday, another burglary was reported on Valley Road.

According to police, the burglar struck between 12:20 p.m. and 1:40 p.m. There were no signs of forced entry and the thief might have entered through an unlocked door. The Bergen County Sheriff's Department BCI unit processed the scene and collected evidence. Detectives Eric Reamy and James Calaski are working the case.
