A Ridgewood resident was struck by a car on East Ridgewood Avenue Thursday morning, according to .
Lt. David McDermott said at about 6:30 a.m. a Ridgewood man was in the crosswalk at E. Ridgewood Ave. and Kenilworth when he was struck by a vehicle. The pedestrian refused medical attention, McDermott said.
The driver, of Washington Township, was issued a summons for failure to yield to a pedestrian in the crosswalk, McDermott said.
