7-11 Application Disputed by Neighboring Rival

Neighboring convenience store Exxon Mobil says the developers of 7-11 didn't properly file their application

The application to construct a 7-11 on Franklin Turnpike got off to a rocky start last week, the Ridgewood News reports.

Developers want to repurpose the Shell Station as a 7-11 with fuel pumps, accessed by Route 17. Neighboring fuel station/conveience store Exxon Mobil, just a few parcels down, isn't as keen on the idea.

According to the report, the applicants failed to properly nofity neighbors of all the variances sought, and various reports were not received by board consultants.
