'Bridgegate' Scandal Sinks Christie In NBC Presidential Election Poll

NBC shows former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton leads Gov. Chris Christie by 13 points in 2016 presidential election survey

Gov. Chris Christie may still be popular in New Jersey, but the "Bridgegate" scandal appears to have eroded the nation's faith in his leadership.

An NBC-Marist poll that showed a neck-and-neck race a month ago now shows that Democrat Hillary Clinton, the former secretary of state and first lady, leading Christie, a Republican, by 13 points.

Neither potential candidate has declared their intentions yet, but polls show that both are considered the respective front-runners for the presidential nomination of their political parties.

NBC pointed out that a third of those surveyed believe Christie is lying about his role in the scheme to close Fort Lee lanes to the George Washington Bridge as a form of political retribution.

CJV - We have a responsibility to one another to keep this forum open and decent. Perhaps that is one thing (out of a number), which you may have trouble understanding. I am smart, decent and educated, and, I have friends that live in trailer parks, who would not appreciate your remarks. Now, I am not sure what you mean regarding the school bus thing, but perhaps your child is in a more precarious setting living with you, your views and your apparent anger issues, than he or she would be on an average school bus. I made it very clear that I do not view any TV networks. Instead, I keep a clear head with a close spiritual walk. In other words, I get my information from a Real source, not Sean Hannity.

Bob Vey, then why did we not hear all the same noise over the 12 attacks on Diplomatic installations, by terrorists, resulting in many deaths, during the Bush administration? I suspect that if Hillary Clinton declined to run for president, we wouldn't hear much about Benghazi again. It's all politics. But in the meantime, what's going on behind the scenes that were NOT hearing about?

By the way, regarding the poll, the hacks at Quinnipac continue to claim otherwise. Q are famous for bizarre poll outcomes that claim close races where there are none, likely a bald effort by them to increase campaign spending on further polls.
