Repairs to Ridgewood's Maple Field Turf Coming
County will pay for half of the project.
With grant approval from the county freeholders in hand, Ridgewood is moving forward to rehabilitate the hard turf at Maple Field.
The village will formally accept a matching Open Space grant from the county at its Wednesday meeting, officials said. Ridgewood will pay a tad over $20,000 for the work, with the county chipping in the remaining $20,000.
Work is expected to begin shortly.
