Van Keuren, Biggs, Pazan Reelected

All districts reporting, 130 absentee ballots remain to be counted

Glen Rock's mayor and both incumbent council members were reelected Tuesday night.

Mayor John van Keuren received 1692 votes. His opponent Mark McCullough received 1455 votes.

Councilman Art Pazan received 1809 votes and Councilwoman Pamela Biggs received 1865 votes.

Challenger Howard Fox received 1375 votes. 

One hundred and thirty absentee ballots were not included in this total.

Van Keuren said he was glad Tuesday night the "long campaign" was over. 

"I'm glad the voters of Glen Rock were comfortable enough with my performance to bring me back," he said. "There are a lot of big challenges ahead in the next 4 years — probably greater ones than I've seen in the previous 8 [years] — but I think I've got a council that is ready for the challenges."
