Village Calendar Theme Chosen

2013 to focus on Ridgewood's natural beauty.

The village will be honoring its trees and other greenscapes somewhat ironically with the 2013 paper calendar.

Village Manager Ken Gabbert said village staff – primarily Assistant to the Village Manager Janet Fricke – will be using the theme of Ridgewood's natural beauty, focusing on trees, parks, flora and Ridgewood's Earth Day.

Ridgewood council members did not oppose the proposal at last Wednesday's council meeting.

The 2012 calendar focused on a decade of athletics. Publication, needless to say, should be going out before the new year starts. The village uses recycled paper to lower costs.
