District Dedicating Garden in Memory of Longtime GRHS Employee

Ginny James, who passed away in April, spent 34 years as an employee of Glen Rock High School.

Virginia "Ginny" James graduated from Glen Rock High School's first graduating class in 1959 and later spent 34 years in its hallways as a media center technician. She called it a career in July, 2011 and suddenly passed away in April of 2012 at the age of 71.

The district will be memorializing James' prolific service with the dedication of a garden surrounding the flagpole at the high school's front lawn on Saturday.

The garden was commissioned by her husband David with support from those close to her. It was created by Glen Rock landscaper Michael Tode.
