Glen Rock Schools Closed on Wednesday, Thursday
Safety hazards still abound in the borough, canceling trick-or-treat as well.
The Glen Rock Police Department announced Tuesday afternoon that schools would be closed on Wednesday and Thursday.
"A state of emergency remains in effect," police wrote in the message. "There will be no trick-or-treating tomorrow due to the numerous safety hazards."
Neighboring Ridgewood also closed on Wednesday due to the considerable damage sustained by Hurricane Sandy.

Glen Rock school officials did not immediately respond to a request for comment Tuesday afternoon.
