Report Ranks RHS, GRHS Among State's Top Performing Schools

Student test scores at both among the highest in Bergen County.

Ridgewood and Glen Rock High Schools rank among the state's highest performers in SAT and standardized test scores, according to a report published by NJ.com.

The report assigned New Jersey public high schools a grade of either A, B, C or D based on a four year sampling of test scores, taking student growth into consideration.

Both local high schools received an "A" grade, meaning that while test performance showed lower than average growth, the scores were already well above average.

According to the website's rankings, Ridgewood and Glen Rock have the second and seventh highest average SAT scores among Bergen County's non-selective public high schools, respectively, and the third and sixth highest HSPA scores.
