RHS Class of '91 Donates to School Library Project

A $1,000 check was given to Principal Thomas Gorman as part of a plan to make large-scale improvements to the 50-year-old library.

Ridgewood High School Class of 1991 Alumni "Pay it Forward" and deliver a check to Ridgewood High School Principal, Dr. Thomas Gorman. The donation is for the Learning Commons Campaign, an initiative to renovate and transform the outdated library at the High School.

With enough money raised, the federation of supporters are moving forward with construction plans. A modern, multi-purpose space is expected to be constructed by the end of September at an estimated cost of $850,000.

Class of 1991 alumna Siobhan Crann Winograd has been meeting with alumni groups to solicit support for the Learning Commons project.

The group's major fundraiser is scheduled for Jan. 11 at the Woodcliff Lake Hilton.
