Ridgewood, Glen Rock Make 'Most Challenging High Schools in NJ' List

Ranking was based on the number of college-level exams taken at the schools each year.

Both Ridgewood and Glen Rock High School were named among the “most challenging high schools in New Jersey” by a ranking recently compiled by the Washington Post.

The list has Ridgewood ranked as the 31st school on the list of 122 NJ schools, and Glen Rock as 34th.

According to the Post, the ranking is based on a simple equation – the number of college-level (AP) tests given at a school in the previous calendar year divided by the number of graduates that year. Any school with a ratio of 1.0 or better made the list.
