Ridgewood High School's Class of 2013 Graduates [Photos]

Clad in traditional white dinner jackets and silk dresses beneath a flurry of rose petals, the Ridgewood High School graduating class of 2013 on Thursday reflected on moments of blistering tragedy and steadfast perseverance.

Students and administrators reflected on the major events of the year – the death of student Nick Campanello, the shooting in Newtown, the struggles that emerged from Hurricane Sandy. Through it all, the class developed a strong bond, speakers said. 

When the last graduate's name had been called and the speeches had commenced, roaring celebration had followed.

Soon, the new grads were shuffled onto buses to nearby Benjamin Franklin Middle School for their final gathering as a collective. The Project Graduation party featured a "Wizard of Oz" theme.
