Ridgewood Jazz Masters to Play Beatles 50th Anniversary Tribute

Second annual concert raises money for RHS band programs.

The Ridgewood High School Band Association is planning its Second Annual Jazz Masters Concert, and this year’s event is set to commemorate a musical milestone.

The theme of this year’s Jazz Masters Big Band performance will celebrate the 50th anniversary of The Beatles coming to America, and will feature arrangements of many Beatles favorites, including some very rare charts recorded by the Count Basie Orchestra.

This concert will also feature a special performance by the Rutgers Scarlet Knights Jazz Trombones, directed by Conrad Herwig.
