Robert Treat Gets $1,000 Donation

Funds come from furniture retailer

Robert Treat Academy was one of seven New Jersey schools to receive a $1,000 donation from Bob’s Discount Furniture last month.

The funds were provided by donations from customers placed in jars at Bob’s Stores cafes.
Every month, Bob’s randomly selects seven schools in the communities near its stores and makes a donation of $1,000. This month, Bob’s Discount Furniture is supporting education and arts programs in New Jersey with the cash awards. Bob’s has donated money to hundreds of schools over the past 20 years. Previous recipients have used the donations for such things as purchasing new art and classroom supplies, funding student activity groups and going on field trips.

Wow that is nice, but I really wished that it was given to a school that really needs. Rta is an immaculate school and they have it all, they should pay it forward and donate to a school in Newark. I still think it's nice that businesses do this kind of thing.
