'Greatest Science Extravaganza in Northern New Jersey' Coming

Super Science Saturday kicks off on March 9 at Ridgewood High School.

Hundreds will be wowed at Ridgewood High School on March 9 for the annual Super Science Saturday.

As is tradition, the event will feature rocket launches, a 25-foot egg drop and paper airplane contests. 

More than 50 adult and professional presenters will be at the high school from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

The free event is sponsored by Valley Hospital and the Ridgewood Education Foundation.

More than 4,000 students have participated over the years and organizers are hoping 2013 will bring another 500 young minds interested in science.
