Who are the New GRHS Teachers? Find Out.

Check out the biographies of the ten new educators at the high school.

Don't recognize some of the names on your kid's schedule? has a few new teachers and aides for the 2012-2013 school year and the school added a few biographies on its website.

Here's the list:

Math Department

Janina Wnorowski – GRHS welcomes Janina, who received both her Master’s Degree and Bachelor’s Degree from Rutgers University. She has experience teaching mathematics and special education in the Rutherford School District. Janina will be one of our Student Council advisors and an assistant girls volleyball coach for GRHS. 

English Department

Jason Toncic – Jason received his Master’s Degree and Bachelor’s Degree from The College of New Jersey. Jason will be the advisor of our school newspaper, The Glen Echo and serve as a middle school girls volleyball coach. 

Science Department

Oren Levi – GRHS welcomes Oren, who received both his Master’s Degree and Bachelor’s Degree from Rutgers University. 

Abigail Bergoffen– Abigail received her Master’s Degree from Manhattan College and her BS from SUNY Cortland. Abigail has experience teaching in New Milford, as well as in New York. She also has experience as an environmental engineer. 

Business Department

Samara Fluster– Samara received her Bachelor’s Degree from Lehigh University and her Master’s Degree from Montclair State University. She is dual certified in Business and ESL. She will also eb advising our Cultural Exchange program.

Art Department

Scott Kupka – Scott received Bachelor’s Degree from William Paterson University, where he also continued his graduate work. Scott is an accomplished artist. He has experience in teaching at Soaring Heights Charter School and did his student teaching at Pompton Lakes High School. He will be assisting GRHS with its yearbook, Glenconian. 

Student Assistance Counselor/Social Worker

Heather Wombough – Heather received her Master’s Degree from Monmouth University and her Bachelor’s Degree from Rutgers University. She has experience as an intake counselor and did her internship in Lacey Township.

Teaching Assistants

Kevin Hernandez – Kevin just graduated from Montclair State University. He has experience working in Special Education and Mathematics.

Chris Farrell – Chris is a recent graduate of William Paterson University. He is certified to teach English.

Danielle Coletta – Danielle is a certified teacher, currently pursuing her Master’s Degree at City College in NYC. She received her Bachelor’s Degree from St. Thomas Aquinas College.
