Ridgewood's Joe Oliva Undefeated on the Mat

The 132-lbs. junior is following up a solid sophomore season with an unblemished record.

Ridgewood High School star wrestler Joe Oliva is making easy work of the competition thus far, northjersey.com reports.

Undefeated in 2013, Oliva was just crowned the Bergen County champion at 132 lbs. It's the first time a Maroon accomplished the feat since 2003, according to the site.

"When I came back to win the region last year, it showed me that when I’m focused and ready I can win the big matches," the junior told northjersey.com.
