Ridgewood Topples Mahwah In Battle of Bergen's Best
Maroons score early and often en route to a 16-6 victory
For a Ridgewood team that has made it clear that it plans to finish this season better than it last did, the Maroons took another step towards that stated goal on Friday night.
The Maroons hosted Mahwah, which ousted Ridgewood from last year's Bergen County Tournament, in a Gibbs Division game that could also be the county final if both teams win on Sunday.
Ridgewood used a balance attack to get out to an 8-1 lead in the 2nd quarter, and cruised to a dominating 16-6 victory.
