With 'Aggressive' Core of New Talent, Girls Lacrosse Builds on Success
The bar is raised as the Lady Panthers look to move into North Jersey's elite.
After a strong 2010 campaign that rocketed Glen Rock girls lacrosse into the upper echelon of North Jersey teams, the 2011 season brings heightened expectations.
The team will have to overcome adversity, having lost about a dozen seniors.
But for a team that has also added so much freshman talent, the Lady Panthers look to be coming together quickly — under the guidance of first-year head coach Taryn Tabano — in an effort to defeat some of the best teams in the highly competitive Stars Division.

Following a recent weather-related postponement, the team will open up the season on Wednesday, April 6, at Montclair.
