Our eldest son has been attending the Montessori Learning Center for the last 2 years. We are very happy with the choice we made. This is a very save, and well structured environment with warm and motivated teachers. Our son has been thriving academically and he really loves his school and teachers. We will definitely choose this school again for our youngest son!

We visited a handful of schools when we were transitioning to Ridgewood from Manhattan and chose MLC based on the strength of the reviews and the colorful classroom environment. Our son attended for less than 2 weeks (about 6 classes) but we felt that it wasn't a good fit at the time and pulled him out to focus a year on more of a play-based curriculum at a coop. Apparently with the "hotel california" model - this cannot be easily done as we forfeited a good chunk of money (non-refundable deposit - $850 and first installment $850) and only recently got back the second installment of $850 that was also due up front. I get the feeling that Maeve has been able to strong-arm a lot of dedication to this school over the years as she made it hard for us to leave - employing guilt tactics to try and make us feel bad for the lack of fit at the time and refused our offer to try and work out something for the next year given the money we had already put in. The teachers might be fine, but I'd steer clear of the administration of this school .. something's not quite right here.
My 3 year old daughter is attending Montessori Learning Center of Ridgewood for last 5 months and she is so happy and we are also highly satisfied with school, teachers and learning environment they provide together. Before selecting Montessori Learning Center, we visited many other nearby schools. The superior quality demonstrated by Montessori Learning Center of Ridgewood was evident.

Our 3 yr old daughter started this past fall, and she couldn't be happier. She attends 5 mornings a week, in addition to two extended days which last until 1:30pm, which she absolutely loves. The teachers are kind, patient, and instill a love of learning in the kids which I am happy to notice my daughter picking up on. We will be happy to eventually send our youngest son to this school as well.

We've sent both of our children to MLC and have had a great experience here. Our oldest son knew how to read before kindergarden and our younger son is doing well learning all of his letters. They also have a wonderful way of working with the children to teach positive behavior in a fantastic learning environment.
