They broke the law.... and they got what they deserved. There are few things worse than invading aRead More person home. Two less criminals in society. People say they were just two dumb kids.... I say they were two dumb young criminals who were going to become two dumb older criminals. If they started out at a young age invading peoples homes, what would they be doing in a few more years.... probably murderous acts. Good for him.... NOT GUILTY !
Jake Mathews April 24, 2014 at 09:25 am
Not guilty. These guys were armed with guns hiding out in his basement. Perhaps shot the guy in theRead More face was extensive but be as it may he probably was in fear for his life

He did to much,Okay these teens must of been watching the house for awhile and saw no movement andRead More broke in.But one shot was enough no matter how mad are nuts he went,So one has to wonder what the girl was thinking after she heard the shot ,that she did not get out of there ,Which leaves the Question when she saw that the boy was shot when she went down the basement did she start to go after the guy.Are did he shoot her coming down the steps.

Dear dee marie and Mike, I only have one thing to say read up on the liberal attack of SarahRead More Palin---you have no shame. ps "Chelsea Clinton for ambassador to Libya"
Michael Hipp April 24, 2014 at 09:10 am
Hey Jerry, I am talking about you specific people on this specific blog post with my originalRead More comment. I, personally, don't give two farts about Sarah Palin or any of her prodigy, and I never once went on any message board or blog post and said the first thing about her or president shrubbery..... and I said as much in my original post. Now, if you'd like to berate me on the point of my post instead of your perceived sins of all liberals, please do. Until and unless you are ready to do that though, I invite you to not lump me with anybody else because I'm an individual.... and maybe learn how to comprehend what you're reading while you're at it.
B. Dub April 24, 2014 at 09:32 am
It's "progeny", not "prodigy". It's kind of tough to comprehend what we'reRead More reading when it is written so poorly.

this "to me" is not funny, the swat teams are used for serious issues, hostage taking,Read More etc. to have a swat team called to a home behind a video game is stupid, these swat members are trained to save lives, etc. to be called to a home behind a video game is not funny, what happens if a REAL call comes in and swat is needed there, I hope they catch the idiot that called swat and he gets what he/she deserves
John Strother April 24, 2014 at 08:38 am
with caller ID they should be able to point to the caller. Sorry but an out of state telephoneRead More number should be a tip off.
Eddie April 24, 2014 at 08:52 am
The caller used Skype, via the Internet, and will probably never be found if he took certainRead More precautions unless he's running his mouth about this prank.
Kyle April 24, 2014 at 03:28 am
Lol shut up coffeenut, you are a typical keyboard commando with no balls. Go and say something toRead More someone's face and stop hiding behind your computer. There are two sides to every story and I'm sure the police are not out to get you like you think. Looking up police brutality videos on YouTube is the dumbest shit I have ever heard. Of course you are gunna find them, you can find videos about everything on YouTube but as with anything you are watching something that 1) you were not there so you do not know the circumstances and 2) it is from a single point of view and a majority of the time edited to look as bad as it can possibly be... You can't believe everything you hear and see on the internet. You are the only one on here who is constantly commenting, say your piece and stfu. Anyone can tell you are nothing but an internet troll who can't give something up. You're anti cop we get it, no need to spam the comments section with your hate.
Kyle April 24, 2014 at 03:34 am
And I would love to hear how many videos on your precious YouTube that you actually follow up withRead More and see what the outcome of the case was and see if the officers were terminated from their "brutality"... That's right you think about that because you have probably never followed up with a single one. You can't even put your name. You hide behind coffee nut.. Put your first and last name on here, I don't care about addresses or anything like that but if you are gunna troll put your full name on here.. Haha that's right you will never do that because you get a rise out of posting on forums and arguing with people. You are a coward. Stay trolling.

TO THE EDITOR....I'm seriously disappointed by the removal of peoples comments overnight.... If youRead More cannot see the flow and context of comments made,, how is one supposed to understand the comments you read? The young man, Black Panther was defending himself and his position in the face of raw bigotry and you removed that?? When you invite unfettered comments from people on a forum such as this,, CENSORSHIP HAS NO PLACE. You either put on your big boy/girl panties and allow Free Speech to run it's course,,, of you SHUT THIS DOWN. I'm so surprised at your actions. Not good!
Bob Zahm April 24, 2014 at 09:23 am
@Love All - not sure what comments were removed, but looking if they were anything like the racistRead More trash "monkey" lewis posts, they violate terms of service and should be removed.
Porter gladstone April 24, 2014 at 09:30 am
think monkey shud be left up.... great example of what people face. its obviouslyRead More meant as provocation. but if u leave it up--they only look like the jerk... should embarrass monkey more than offend anyone. they are obviously just a dope.

Dickie also can't stand not seeing his name in the paper once a week, so he'll be "for" orRead More "against" something just for the sake of issuing a press release. Sending out a camera crew to interview him just enables him further. Forty years and counting. He's the poster child for Term Limits.

the only difference I see between Codey and Christie is that one is wearing an orange cone and theRead More other one is still renting them out at will - regardless, the longer Julie Herrman remains at Rutgers, the longer Rutgers's integrity is going to be under a public cloud
Clyde Z April 23, 2014 at 07:59 am
her hiring was a joke, I mean they said they did a background check: must not have used GoogleRead More search because they've listed her troubles before her hire at Rutgers. Not to mention that she "lied" on her application. I've had co-workers fired after a month, months and in another case years after their hire due to lies on their application. Hermann's lies could/should have been cought by simple 10th grade investigation
Everyday Mathematics is just one of the programs that makes a heck of a lot of $ off of the millions of textbooks sold to schools that teach to the 'Core.' The Common Core isn't just restricting for teachers & students, it's lining people's pockets.

Jennifer April 24, 2014 at 08:53 am
So Cow Dung, Gary has said it all in a much more straight-forward way. Everything he says is true,Read More and the information can be found, and checked, in MANY places. Just NOT on the Common Core website.
Jennifer April 24, 2014 at 09:00 am
Why do I have a problem with the Gates foundation? I think I said it before. They funded theRead More organizations that wrote the standards. They funded the organizations that reviewed the standards. They fuinded every group that supposedly had "input" into the development of the standards. There is NO record of what the "input" consisted of, or if any of it was implemented. All we really have on record is the Content advisor for Mathematics, Jim Milgrim, prof. at Stanford, explaining why he refused to endorse the math standard. We have the English Language content advisor, Sandra Slotsky, explaining why she, likewise, could not sign off on the standards. And she explains that she has sat on many such committees before, in her role in developing Massachussetts very well-respected standards, and she said that this is the first time she was required to sign a non-disclosure. She said such committees are usually subject to "Sunshine" laws. These are specific people, highly qualified people, giving specific and detailed testimony. But you would rather keep pointing to the CC website vaguely referring to "how educators were involved".

Lee Brewer April 24, 2014 at 07:59 am Mr Kitzer - I am sure there may have been a few good peopleRead More there helping who were Atheists - but they were not en masse, not in huge numbers, not there every day. Gateway Church has had one or two volunteers in Union Beach every single day since Oct 1, 2013 Sandy aftermath. My point is - you gotta walk the talk Mr. Kitzer - not call the world that disagrees with you profane names. I did not read that you gave 10% of your annual 10% income to help the poor. Did I miss this? That is what many Christians and Jews do. Many Muslims give 20% for the poor. BTW in 2012 Azim Permij, a Muslim in India, gave 2 Billion USD cash to help their educational system. God has a way of penetrating hearts into action. So I am thankful that we are one nation, under God.
John Santaella April 24, 2014 at 08:21 am
Good morning Tom Abbott and thank you for the gentle correction. If my kids should see that post IRead More will hear about it until Father's Day.
Madeleine April 24, 2014 at 08:24 am
Lee Brewer: I help people because I am able to and I hope people would help me in a time of crisisRead More (in other words, pay it forward). Helping has nothing to do with my belief in God which is a personal matter. We are one nation, a nation of people who care for one another, regardless of motivation. People are summoned to help others by a number of sources: parents, their employers, their church, God, need for redemption, feeling of altruism, personal connections to the victims of misfortunes, etc. We are one nation. Period.

Netflix is hands down the best deal going, and it has been a bargain for YEARS. I guess theRead More nonsensical whiners who complain about a long-delayed, $2 a MONTH increase are worried it will cost them a (partial) SINGLE LATTE. Utterly ridiculous.

TO MICHAEL BRENNICK: Leftist, Democra... WHAT? You think Comcast is part of the so-calledRead More "liberal" media (which, by the way, doesn't even exist)? Are you freakin' KIDDIN' me? FOR THOSE WHO LIKE AMAZON PRIME OVER NETFLIX: Here's an interesting article from today (23 Apr 2014)Read More about how Amazon Prime just got HBO to stream at least some of its older content, plus "HBO GO," to Amazon's new Fire TV box, thereby making NetFlix upset because NetFlix (nor any other streaming service, including HULU) has never been able to get any HBO content; and so Amazon has scored a real coup! At least they are bi-partisan. An inappropriate Democratic role model last year and an inappropriateRead More Republican one this year. I don't object to celebrities being role models, but why can't they choose someone who is a noted philanthropist or some other positive figure? I wonder how much someone paid for this honor. Sorry, Autistic boy, but there are a multitude of crimes here. These so called 'friends' abused youRead More terribly ~ called 'bullying', & that alone cannot be tolerated. Then, there is animal cruelty involved, another terrible crime, plus, harassment of all kinds, leudness, & who knows what else.
