A'La Cupcakes of Glen Rock Closes

So long, chocolate bacon cupcakes. Pam Lambert, owner/baker of A'La Cupcakesclosed down her Glen Rock bakery last weekend. The space at 36 Glen Avenue didn't hold a public restroom, so it mostly served as a cupcake baking and distribution center. The resurgence of Heavenly Treats across the street likely did not help matters. Lambert's cupcakes, however, were lauded for being inventive, fresh and made with all-natural ingredients. Most orders were picked up on site or delivered to customers. On Facebook, Lambert thanked her customers for their support over the years and gave no indication her baking career was over.
