World's best soccer player scores three, including game winner, as Argentina defeats Brazil at sold-out MetLife Stadium

The best soccer player in the world scored a hat trick Saturday in front of a sold-out MetLife Stadium to lead his Argentinian national team to a thrilling 4-3 win in their friendly match against rival Brazil. Messi scored two first half goals and broke a 3-3 tie in the final minutes of the match, dashing to the center of the pitch and beating the Brazilian keeper to the top corner with a powerful, bending, left-footed shot from just outside the box. Thousands of futball fans filed into Red Bull Arena in Harrison on Thursday night as the world's best player and his Argentinian national team prepped for a Saturday showdown with rival Brazil.
