'Cousins Live' Performed at Jalapenos

X-Factor contestant plays soul-tinged pop guitar tunes

Cousins Live performed at Mexican resturant Jalapenos Thursday night. The duo is an acoustic rock/R&B band comprised of Erik Parian and Danny Spadaro who are, as you might have guessed, actually cousins. Dean Big Band offered a musical backdrop, visitors and exhibitors shared their thoughts on this event. Junior League Gets Healthy With Wyckoff Y

Families learn about nutritious foods and exercise.

The Wyckoff Family YMCA celebrated the 10th annual Healthy Kids Day on Saturday with games, exercise and educational programs. Kids and their parents packed the Y to enjoy a multitude of events, including a youth biathlon in the morning, where children ages 9 to 11 and 12 to 14 ran outside and finished off with laps in the pool. Other activities included dancing, Nintendo Wii tennis, obstacle courses, soccer kicks, healthy child evaluations and other games. There also was an aerobics room for yoga, cardio kick and jab, and family zumba; the halls were lined with stands with such things as healthy lunches, a sugar spoon evaluation table, backpack education and child ID's donated by NY Life.
