From the Glen Rock Police Blotter: Lock Up Your Jewels Before Leaving Town

A weekend night away turned into a loss for one Glen Rock couple, according to police.

A Glen Rock resident reported to police that someone impersonating a Visa agent called their home and requested credit information. The resident became suspicious after providing personal info to the alleged thief and followed up with a call to Visa, according to police. A resident of Harding Road reported to police an unauthorized withdrawal of $500 from an ATM in Arizona. Police said the victim notified their bank and was advised how to prevent harm to their credit report.  On the morning of Jan. 15 a building manager arriving at 65 Harristown Rd. discovered a third floor exterior door forced open, police said.
