The Mediterranean-inspired seafood spot near the Ridgewood train station has closed the doors.
During one of the busiest dining dashes of the year, Blue Fish Restaurant at 18 East Ridgewood Avenue has been closed for more than a week. A sign in the window states the space is available for lease. The phone has been disconnected and the restaurant's e-mail address is no longer working. Owner Ashraf Sarkies could not be reached for comment. Multiple sources said the restaurant would not be re-opening. Blue Fish opened in 2010 to generally favorable reviews. It replaced euro-centric Cafe Tulip, the prior tenant.
