GRPD Issues Valor Awards for 2012
Incidents include the capture of an alleged lemonade stand flasher, the biting of a police officer, arrests in a major drug ring, the largest heroin bust in department history, numerous fraud/scam cases, and more.

Eight Glen Rock police officers, a New York City police detective and a private citizen were presented with "police valor awards" for their exemplary actions during 2012 at a Patrolmen's Benevolent Association (PBA) ceremony held in Dec. 19, 2012. The award recipients were selected by a committee of department colleagues directed by Sgt.
