Glen Rock School Board Reorganizes Monday
Liz Carr, Gene Calderon and Barbara Steuert will be sworn in.
The three victors of the November election will take the oath of office as school board members in Glen Rock on Monday. Liz Carr, the leading vote-getter, and incumbent trustees Barbara Steuert and Gene Calderon overwhelmed two challengers in the fall. They will serve three year terms on the nine-member board. Also on the agenda is the position of board president, currently held by Rona McNabola. The board meets at 8 p.m.

Interesting. When the BOE election was in April, those elected took office in May. Now elected officials are elected in November and take office in January - in the middle of the school year. This is a poorly thought out plan. But for the BOE that is something they seem to do all the time. All I can do is hold onto my wallet. My taxes are going up…again. more ›
