Regular DPW Hours Returning Tuesday to Glen Rock

Normal hours of 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. start up again on Sept. 4, according to the borough.

Beginning this Tuesday, September 4, 2012, the Department of Public Works will resume regular work hours, 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Rear-yard garbage and curbside recycling pickup will begin at 7 a.m. Each summer, as temperatures rise, the DPW adopts an earlier schedule so that garbage can be collected before the hottest part of the day. The 6:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. schedule will wrap up at the end of this week.  The Borough would like to thank residents for getting their garbage out by 6:30 a.m. this summer, and remind residents to have garbage out by 7 a.m. come this Tuesday. DPW employees cannot return for missed garbage. The above message was sent by the Borough of Glen Rock.
