Annual performance generates scholarship money for Ridgewood students
Despite a whopper of a snowstorm forcing a cancelation of one performance, RHS parent production Jamboree raised $103,000 in scholarship money for students. The 2013 Jamboree performance centered around the theme of the American Revolution, titled "The British Are Coming!" To read more about Jamboree, check out its website and see the video posted above.

Submitted by Sean McCooe and Susan Knudsen Since 1947, Jamboree has been the most generous, local scholarship fund for graduating RHS students and is open to all applicants with financial need. Over the past 9 years, Jamboree has raised more than $800,000 for senior scholarships, and these awards have been distributed to 141 seniors! Jamboree’s annual production showcases the incredible talent, both on-stage and behind-the-scenes, of parents and guardians of Ridgewood High School students, plus many other volunteers. We are proud of the effort and continued financial support of so many families, friends, organizations, and local businesses within our broad community. This year’s show offers a new twist – a first-ever alumni sketch …

There's still time to sign up for Jamboree 2013, Ridgewood High School parents. An audition will be held on Thursday, Dec. 6 at 7 p.m. at the Ben Franklin Middle School Cafeteria.
