From Paper Pages to the Big Screen
Library installs new Macs in the Habernickel Technology Training Center.
When the Ridgewood Public Library decided to renovate its facilities in the mid-90s, it never expected it to be as cutting edge as it is today. Then, it made technology development a key focus. With the recent addition of Apple computers and subsequent classes, the library continues to meet that goal. Following the installation of the all-Mac computer lab, the library "now carries the next generation of technology," says director Nancy Greene. Last spring, the library set out to expand its Habernickel Technology Training Center and made an appeal to Ridgewood residents with fingers crossed.
