As promised, health-centric Saladworks opened the doors Monday morning to the public. A chain founded in New Jersey, Saladworks has more than 100 locations nationwide. The newest is at 37 Chestnut Street in Ridgewood. A new healthy dining option will soon be opening in the village. Owner Bob Gallo Jr. tells Patch Saladworks on Chestnut Street will be opening on Jan. 21. There's a wealth of healthy options now available in downtown Ridgewood, and soon enough salad shop Salaldworks will join the fray. A chain with over 100 franchises nationwide, the store was first founded in Cherry Hill in 1986. Saladworks offers a variety of salads, soups, wraps and paninis.
