Village Woman Accused of Threatening to Shoot Medical Office Employee
Sherryl Piroso allegedly told a doctor's office employee she would "get a gun and shoot her" on Friday.
A Ridgewood woman is facing terroristic threat charges for allegedly threatening to shoot a doctor's office employee on Friday. Sherryl Piroso, 62, called a doctor's office at 1200 East Ridgewood Avenue around 11:30 a.m. and said she would "get a gun and shoot her," Ridgewood Police Det. Chris McDowell told Patch. Further details of the alleged incident could not be released due to HIPPA laws, McDowell said. The employee filed a citizen's complaint with the Ridgewood Police Department. Judge David Pfund found enough probable cause to initiate an arrest, police said. Piroso was charged with making terroristic threats, a third degree offense. She faces an upcoming appearance at Ridgewood Municipal Court.
