Thief Steals Family's Minivan on Christmas Eve
Ridgewood police have no suspects.
There's a real scrooge driving around in a grey minivan, according to Ridgewood police. Lt. Todd Harris said a resident of the Cloister Apartments on South Maple Avenue noticed the family's 2001 grey Nissan Quest parked in the driveway at about 6:30 p.m. Sometime during the night, it disappeared. A report was filed with police at 3 p.m. The vehicle was parked with others at the time of the theft and was unlocked, Harris said. There are no suspects but the vehicle has been entered into a stolen auto database. Detectives are on the case.
