What Should Replace Glamour Beauty?

Beauty store closed in 2012; what would you like to see fill the empty store?

After years dolling up the ladies of Ridgewood, Glamour Beauty on East Ridgewood Ave closed late in 2012. In a letter posted on the storefront, owner Paula Karach wrote that she strove to offer great customer service with a smile. She'd been rewarded with great customers and friends that formed the foundation of her business, she wrote. Patrons are now encouraged to visit sister store Glamour Too in Waldwick. But it leaves the burning question – what kind of business should take over the space? Tell us in the comments – what would you like to see?

Megan. I have lowered rents also on property I own and manage through out the CBD. Some store rentals are the same rent that we was getting 10 years ago. Yet the taxes are much higher and keep rising. Its a fact of life that the mom and pop stores just can't make it here with the internet and the malls with FREE. We could use some big box stores but they are not coming here with out parking. …   more ›
