West Bergen Offers Counseling Services in Wake of Sandy Hook Shooting

Trained counselors are available to help parents/educators answer questions children have over what happened in Newtown, Conn.

West Bergen Mental Healthcare in Ridgewood is offering free counseling services to the community following the tragic school shooting on Friday in Newtown, Conn. "We know some parents, teachers and/or community leaders may have questions about how to approach the situation and help children deal with their feelings and concerns as the days and weeks go on," the organization said in a statement Tuesday. All community members can speak with trained child/adolescent therapists and other staff members by telephone. West Bergen Gearing Up for 'Grand Slam for Kids' Event
