Beth is a proud resident of Glen Rock. Living here has allowed her to raise her family in small town American and take advantage of the fantastic school system, while still having easy access to New York City and all of it's adventures.
She is a full time Realtor at Marron Gildea in Ridgewood, specializing in residential marketing and sales, primarily in Northwest Bergen County. "I feel fortunate that I work in an area that had done remarkably well during the economic crisis. Bergen County's proximity to New York City has sheltered it from the dramatic climate we have seen in other parts of the country. This is not to say we don't have our challenges." Says Fernandez. "But the current market challenges help our profession to become better at what we do. We have to work harder, think out of the box, and seek more education. "
In 2007, Beth founded the Poverty Awareness Project, a community organization that provides education, activities and fundraising to an annual "project" to eliminate extreme poverty. She is a ONE Campaign Malaria Griot (storyteller).
