Tre Voci Closes Doors After Four Years

New restaurant set to open at the location this fall.

After four years on Chestnut Street, Tre Voci became the second Ridgewood Italian restaurant to close its doors this month, owner Damiano Pascali told customers Monday.

Earlier this month, Osteria la Fiamma closed down, citing high, "unrealistic" rents that squeezed the restaurant out of its Ridgewood location.

In an email obtained by the Northjersey.com, Pascali disclosed different reasons for his departure from the village.

"The time has come for me to focus on other business matters and to spend more time with my family," he wrote, according to the Record's food blog.

Another restaurateur has reported eyed the space already. According to Bergen County foodie blog boozyburbs.com, mémoire, a seasonal restaurant featuring "eclectic cuisine," is shooting to open in the spot this fall.
