Ridgewood Cops Seeking Counterfeit Suspects

Paterson pair are suspected of using fake money at a village supermarket, police say.

Ridgewood police are looking for two suspects who they say used counterfeit money at a village supermarket.

According to a release from police last week, Detective Douglas Williams wrapped up an investigation into the use of counterfeit money at Kings on May 2. Police say they charged two people – Joseph Nunnally, 31, and Christie Alvino, 30, both of Paterson, with forgery and theft by deception.

Warrants have been issued for the arrests of both suspects, police said.
