Glen Rock Officials, PSE&G Meeting to Discuss Controversial Utility Pole Project

Residents encouraged to attend the Monday meeting at Borough Hall.

Ridgewood first raised a stink over PSE&G's substation project and now Glen Rock is getting in on the action.

PSE&G will be holding an informational session with the Glen Rock Borough Council on Monday, Aug. 12, according to the borough.

Although controversial in neighboring Ridgewood, residents in Glen Rock did not lodge any complaints over the 65-foot-tall utility poles on Maple Avenue. The poles run 69KV of electricity between substations in Fair Lawn and Paramus.

PSE&G Regional Public Affairs Manager Dave Hollenbeck will be addressing concerns residents and town officials may hold.

The Glen Rock meeting is scheduled to start at 7 p.m.
