Ridgewood-Glen Rock Patch

Fairview police chief and Ridgewood resident Frank Delvecchio attends the Ridgewood Running Company's fundraiser to raise money for Delvecchio's "Run for Hope Foundation". After running 26 miles from Ridgewood to Manhattan's Ground Zero last September, Delvecchio is attempting a bigger challenge on May 23, when he'll attempt a 106 mile, 30 hour solo run from Little Ferry to Moonachie to Seaside Heights. All proceeds going to the Sandy Relief Fund.

Police Chief Running 106 Miles for Sandy Victims

"The nightmare is not over for many affected by Sandy," says Ridgewood resident Frank Del Vecchio. The Fairview police chief will be running from Moonachie to the Jersey Shore to raise funds and awareness.
