Glen Rock Pool Badges Go On Sale April 1

The following was sent by the Borough of Glen Rock.

Though you may not have guessed it after yesterday's weather event, pool season is just around the corner! This year badges go on sale on April 1. Residents are encouraged to purchase their membership on or prior to May 16 to take advantage of the reduced rate.

Renewing Your Badge:

If you already have a picture ID badge and no change in "Badge Type" is needed, you can renew your membership through the mail. Simply send a check payable to 'Borough of Glen Rock' for the appropriate fee to Borough of Glen Rock, 1 Harding Plz, Glen Rock, NJ 07452. Badges will be renewed electronically, so there is no need to send in the badges. 

If there is a change in "Badge Type" category, you must come in for a new picture.  Proof of residency will be verified through the property tax records. If you are not the resident on record, you will need to provide proof of residency (see 'Proof of Residency' below). 

Obtaining New Badges: 

New residents and residents who need new badges/pictures will need to visit Borough Hall in person. Please note that memberships cannot be purchased at the pool at any time. 

Any resident wishing to use the pool will need a badge, with the exception of babies who are not yet walking. New residents will need to provide proof of residency (see 'Proof of Residency' below).

Lap Swimming:

The Borough will continue holding early morning lap swimming from 6:00 AM until 10:30 AM.   

• Non-residents are able to purchase an early morning lap swimming badge. Please check the fee schedule for details. 
• Residents interested in early morning lap swimming must purchase an early morning badge in addition to their normal seasonal badge.

Proof of Residency: 

Residents whose residency cannot be verified through tax records must provide a valid New Jersey driver's license with the Glen Rock address and a recent land line telephone bill or utility bill at the time of purchase. 

Payment:

Payment can be made by cash or check. Please note that the Borough does not accept credit cards.

April 16 - May 28

Monday 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM

Thursday 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM

Friday 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM

May 1 - May 28

Monday 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM

Other Notes:

Finally, please keep in mind that May 16 and May 24 are extremely busy pool badge sale days. Buy your badges early to avoid the lines.
