Annual fundraiser with a rock-n'-roll edge this year supports extracurriculars, technology and books for the Glen Rock elementary school.

By day you can find Charles Holmgren keeping the kids in shape at in Glen Rock. By night, the physical education teacher shreds away with his Franklin Turnpike bandmates.

Holmgren and friends joined dozens of Glen Rockers Saturday night to help raise funds for the elementary school, thrown by the Hamilton HSA. Proceeds from the $50 tickets – which bought you front row seats to a rock concert and some fine adult beverages plus good eats – go toward supporting assemblies, technology and books. 

The silent auction, a big hit at  on Saturday, featured great finds like a signed guitar pick from Taylor Swift.
