Glen Rock residents will have their chance to have a bigger say in borough education this fall in the upcoming school board election.
Three seats are up for grabs on Tuesday, Nov. 5 – the positions held by Carlo Cella, Sanjiv Ohri and board president Sheldon Hirschberg. All three seats on the seven-member board are for three-year terms.
School board candidacy kits – including information on nominating petitions, legal qualifications and the responsibility of board members – is available at the distric'ts administrative office at 620 Harristown Road or on the New Jersey School Boards Association website.

Nominating petitions must be received by the Bergen County Clerk's Office by 4 p.m. on June 4.
With the board electing to move elections to the fall, the public will not have the opportunity to vote on the school budget. The budget is capped at 2 percent.
