Ridgewood Church Serenades Paramus Veterans
World Mission Society Church of God visited New Jersey Veterans Home in Paramus. The Church's Choir & Orchestra performed songs in appreciation of the veterans' service to our country.
The World Mission Society Church of God spent Sunday, December 15th with veterans at the New Jersey Veterans Home in Paramus. The Church's Choir and Orchestra performed a set of nostalgic songs for about 50 veterans.
Veterans reminisced to selections like "Come You Fount of Ev'ry Blessing," New Songs and other melodies. As the choir sang and orchestra played, veterans gently nodded their heads with delight and approval.
The World Mission Society Church of God holds these kinds of events to share the love of God the Mother. One of Heavenly Mother's teachings is to always give love, which the members put into practice with the veterans who had fought for America during the Vietnam War and even World War II.
As the veterans felt the warmth and love from the Church of God volunteers, they asked the group to continue visiting them in the future.
