Joan Rivers to Sign Celeb-Mocking Book in Ridgewood
'Diary of a Mad Diva' has attracted a lot of attention for its jabs at celebs and historic figures.
This Tuesday, local comedy fans can check out Joan Rivers signing her new book in Ridgewood. According to the Bookends website, the store will be hosting Rivers Tuesday at 7 p.m. as she signs copies of her new book Diary of a Mad Diva.
Some controversy has swirled around the new book, which mocks celebs and public figures.
TMZ.com reported that Kristen Stewart even threatened to sue Rivers over a passage in the book about her public affair with married director Rupert Sanders. But, Rivers says the jabs are all for a laugh, and did not remove the K-Stew passage from her book, the report said.
