On the heels of her appearance at Z100’s Jingle Ball at New York’s Madison Square Garden on Friday night, the wintry weather Saturday grounded the controversial starlet’s plane at Teterboro Airport, and Cyrus, along with some friends, took a 5 minute drive out to the Chit Chat Diner.

Cyrus and a friend stopped to snap a photo outside of the diner that afternoon and the photo has been circulating on Facebook and Twitter over the past couple of hours.
Miley missed her performance in Boston, but appears to have made the best of her time here.

Cyrus, on the phone with Boston’s Kiss 108FM later on Saturday, said she whiled away the down time posting photos with friends, and “went to some random diner... by the airport” and a nearby Starbucks.
